This app is designed to evaluate the health of your Wi-Fi connection and analyze the performance of your network when connected to a server located in a more extensive network structure. Wi-Fi Health Monitoring

The upper part of the AirO interface delivers valuable information about the Wi-Fi connection status. By evaluating metrics such as Signal Strength (RSSI) and Link Speed in dBm, you can easily identify areas needing improvement. Weak signal strength, for instance, may require repositioning closer to a Wi-Fi access point to alleviate connectivity issues. Additionally, the app runs a Ping test (ICMP echo) to the network's default gateway to assess potential delay causes, giving a clearer picture of connection efficacy relative to network speeds.

Network Analysis Tools

Beyond assessing local Wi-Fi performance, AirO also measures the connection's robustness with a remote server, useful for corporate or internet-based applications. The Ping test extends over the wider network connection, providing insights on latency with high precision speed measurements handled by the iPerf function. This TCP throughput test offers bidirectional results (upstream and downstream), crucial for understanding the available bandwidth between your device and a data center server.
